Robotics Camp at Missouri University of Science and Technology

ROBO

Come to campus ready to learn the basic principles of robotics at this hands-on program including electronics, sensors, motor and servo control, programming and control techniques as well as robotics applications in today’s society.

Using the LEGO® Mindstorms™ Robotics Invention System, teams of participants will have the opportunity to invent, design, build, and program robots while learning the basic structure of computer programming. By integrating motors and sensors with the NXT microcomputer, students will program their robots to respond to their environment, reacting to light, avoiding obstacles, and doing amazing things. This hands-on program provides students with the opportunity for exploration and practical application of math, science, programming, and engineering concepts, while working in small, collaborative teams with a teacher who will guide their exploration and discovery. No robotics experience is required to participate. All materials will be furnished.
