Engineering Expo at South Dakota State University

SDSEngineering Expo is help April 25, 2008 in the Frost Arena at South Dakota State University. Regional high school students, teachers, college students and the general public are invited to the campus to view booths showcasing the Senior Design Projects, society and club displays, and area industry diplays. High school and college students are given the opportunity to particpate in various contests and win exciting prizes.

Women Engineers at The University of Texas at Austin (WE@UT)

WEUTWomen Engineers at The University of Texas at Austin (WE@UT) is a program held in conjunction with the University Honors Colloquium. WE@UT is a program for high school senior women interested in exploring how engineering benefits society and impacts the world.

WE@UT participants will be housed on campus a day before the Colloquium starts and then join the rest of Honors Colloquium. Accommodations and food will be provided free of charge to all WE@UT participants.

Women Engineers Connect (WE Connect) at The University of Texas at Austin

WECWE Connect is designed for admitted high school women and their parents or guardians who wish to learn more about the UT Austin Cockrell School of Engineering. Current engineering students answer questions and provide advice while participants tour the Women Engineers in LittlefielD (WELD) program. The program is free and occurs during Explore UT, The University of Texas at Austin’s annual open house.
