SEMS Middle & High School Outreach Programs at Robert Morris University
We believe students get excited about careers in through interaction and hands-on demonstrations. With that in mind, The School of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science (SEMS) at RMU continues to host Saturday workshops on an on-going basis during the fall and spring for middle and high school students. The workshops involve all three disciplines and some of the topics include Robotics with Lego Mindstorms, Modern Lab Instrumentation, Perfume Science, and ZOOB Mania.
We offer residential camps in the areas of F1 Engineering, Animatronics, Forensics (CSI), and Legos NXT/Robotics.
We also offer an annual Science Bowl for high school students and the “Expanding Your Horizons” one day conference for 6-9 grade young women to get them interested in STEM careers. Contact us for more information.
