Project Discovery Summer Enrichment Program at The University of Kansas
Project Discovery is a one week program for high school females to explore possibilities within the field of engineering.
The program allows students to exchange ideas in an atmosphere where curiosity and enthusiasm, not tests and grades, inspire learning. KU engineering faculty talk with students about the various fields of professional engineers. Students learn about the research methods and problem solving approaches that engineers use every day.
Participants tour engineering facilities at KU and meet engineering faculty.
The program culminates with an awards ceremony and special presentations, where they share their experiences with parents, faculty and other Project Discovery participants.
