Research Science Institute at Center for Excellence in Education

RSIRSI provides students with an opportunity to conduct original, open-ended research in science, mathematics, or engineering. Jointly sponsored by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the program invites approximately 50 US students to Boston for the period 22 June – 2 August, 2008 for an intensive, no-cost academic experience.

Kids Career Day at The University of Akron-College of Engineering

KCDDON’T MISS OUT ON KIDS CAREER DAY! Just around the corner is your unique and exciting chance to touch science!!! Kids Career Day is a ½ day program that is designed to involve children in interactive activities related to occupations in engineering, science, technology, and math. It will be held on February 13th, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (registration begins at 7:30 a.m.). Each activity at Kids Career Day showcases professional women who are currently employed as scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
