I have a 5th grade student who is very good at folding and making things from paper! He made practically every model in the paper airplane book. Just today, I found a machine gun (complete with moving cartridge) that he made solely from rolled paper and scotch tape! He also spends much of his class time taking apart his pens and "fixing" them.

I feel that he's really talented, but I don't know how to channel this energy. Can you recommend books? Activities? Summer programs? Contests that he can enter?
